This competition requires you to be able to perform basic hardware and software integration tasks by following step-by-step instructions to build and provision two nodes of an HPC cluster. The contestant that completes this assignment in the shortest time will win an 8-node HPC cluster for their university or college valued at over $30,000. Cluster-building will be live during SC07.

To compete, you must attend SC07 in Reno, Nevada, and be associated with a not-for-profit college or university in the United States. Faculty, students, and affiliated researchers are welcome to enter to compete. See qualification and judging criteria, and contest rules >
